Eigenmacht Crackower is a firm of trained professionals in a multi-disciplinary accounting, taxation and consulting practice. We have been serving individuals and businesses for over 20 years in the GTA, York Region and surrounding areas.

We have grown by providing practical, professional and hands-on business advice to many satisfied individuals and businesses. They in turn, have referred new and ongoing business to us.

Our goal is to become familiar with your financial objectives, cognizant of your business goals and knowledgeable of your affairs. We want to make your life less stressful from a tax and financial point of view.

Jack Eigenmacht, B.Comm, CA, CFP

Jack was awarded his CA in 1986 and has continued learning and honing his skills. Recognized by peers and clients alike for his problem-solving abilities and tenacity, Jack has contributed to the financial health of both large and small enterprises.

Working in a medium-sized, CA firm, Jack was exposed to the challenges of many complex clients. In a smaller, local firm, Jack found that he could provide much appreciated council to medium and smaller business. So in-demand was his hands-on, practical approach, that he was convinced to strike out on his own in 2000. Jack's success has allowed him to help more clients every year since, and to put together a crack team of caring professionals.

Jack earned his CFP designation in 1998 and has served as volunteer treasurer for several not for profit organizations. He maintains several professional affiliations including the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario, the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, the Canadian Tax Foundation, the Canadian Institute of Financial Planners and the Canadian Condominium Institute.

Jack's areas of specialty include small to medium sized privately owned business in various sectors, the not-for-profit area, charitable organizations, and taxation.


Ellen Crackower, BBA, CA

Ellen is a Toronto accountant who obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration in 1990 from Sir Wilfred Laurier University in Waterloo. She obtained her CA designation in 1993. Ellen specializes in auditing, financial statement presentation and standards implementation.

Paula Adler, CA

Paula hails from the nation’s capital, obtained her B.A. from Queen’s University in 1977, a B. Comm from the University of Saskatchewan in1982 and a CA designation in 1986. In addition to working in public practice, Paula has worked as a Comptroller and Manager of finance and administration in industry. Her experience includes specializing in film & television production accounting and the non-profit sector.


Bruce Tempest, CMA

Bruce, our computer whiz, has a motto: "Helping you keep track of your business". Bruce is a Certified Pro Advisor for the popular QuickBooks accounting software program and offers intelligent, effective support to our clients with this software program as well as with Simply Accounting. He helps set-up and train customers organizing accounts to "really put the computer to work" and do accounting/bookkeeping for people who prefer to do business rather than to do books.


Mary Grace Sese

Jack Eigenmacht welcomes his newest employee and first articling student, Mary Grace Sese. Mary Grace graduated with a B.Comm from the University of the East in Manila, Philippines. She emigrated to Toronto in May 2007 and commenced working with Jack two days later. She is currently pursuing her CGA (Certified General Accountant) designation.
